I'm thinking about taking a one or maybe two-week hiatus from this blog. As I indicated earlier this week, I am seriously thinking about ending this blog completely. I have been doing this since April 5, 2008. I admit it has been fun...for the first year or so. Now, it is almost like a job to me. I'm just burned out, I think. Blogging appears to be on the way out thanks in part to micro-blogging platforms such as Twitter. About six months after I started this blog, it really seemed to take off. But, now things are just a drag. Few, if any, comments these days. However, my feed count is finally up over 100. I get a LOT of spam, which is why I have to have this blog held in complete moderation. I don't like doing that. But, I absolutely despise spam.

I know a lot of you will think this is an overreaction to a certain individual and the copyright thing. No way. I would not give him that kind of satisfaction. I stated back in April I was thinking about ending this thing. So, it is going to be some time for contemplation for me. I get a lot more satisfaction out of my membership on HubPages. I really enjoy it.

So, for the next week or two weeks, this will be the last post on this blog for a while. When I come back, I will either continue blogging or just delete the blog entirely. I really need to relax for a while. As always, please feel free to indulge in the archives of any stories that you wish to read.
